A Different Kind Of Keyboard
Closed, it reads like an extraordinary wooden volume. Opened, it becomes a mechanical acoustic instrument.
Not A Digital Keyboard. A Living Mechanical System.
Instead of samples, speakers, or electronic sound generation, the Bible Regal Organ relies on manually supplied airflow and vibrating metal reeds. Pressing the keyboard controls the mechanical action while the bellows provide the air required for sound.
The result is as much about the experience as the music: opening the instrument, working the bellows, seeing the mechanism, and hearing a distinctive reed-driven acoustic character.
